Head Instructor | Urso Jiu Jitsu

Professor Darquan Graham is a first-degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Professor Joshua Miller, with more than 15 years of experience training in various martial arts and over 13 years dedicated to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

His approach to martial arts extends beyond technique and competition. Professor Graham is passionate about using Jiu Jitsu as a tool to build confidence, discipline, physical fitness, and practical self-defense skills while creating a positive and supportive environment for students of all ages.

After years of training and serving the local community, Professor Graham founded Urso Jiu Jitsu in Hephzibah, Georgia, with a vision of creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming place where people can learn martial arts, develop valuable life skills, and become stronger both physically and mentally.

Located in the South Augusta area, Urso Jiu Jitsu was founded with a strong commitment to family and community. Professor Graham’s goal is to provide local youth and adults with an opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence while surrounding them with positive influences and a supportive martial arts community.

Through Urso Jiu Jitsu, Professor Graham strives to make a lasting impact—not only by developing skilled martial artists, but by helping students become more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable individuals.
